DG, I came back after a good cry. Somehow, reading about strangers dying in the newspaper is so different from reading about a beloved one passing away on a blog. You little cousin sounds like a cutie. Take care.

Thank you all for your tears, hugs and warm words. Means a lot.

Shraddha's eyes are living on, bringing sight to some other poor child(ren). We are drawing comfort from the sole fact that she passed away in her mother's arms.

    DG,

I am so sorry to hear this. It is almost inconceivably hard to lose a child - For her parents and family , all my prayers that God gives them to strength to carry on. Our neice died at the age of 4, and it's taken our family at least 4 years to somewhat carry on with life and celebrate the children who are still living...as my father said at that time, Putra Shoka is the worst sorrow one can endure.

Read this yesterday, Deej - couldn't bring myself to say anything coherent. Still can't. Cannot imagine what her parents are going through. May God grant them and the rest of the family the strength to come to terms with this irreparable loss. Hugs, Deej - try to stay strong.

I can't seem to get over this, DG. The more I think about it the angrier I feel. In today's highly advanced world why is a chirpy 3-year-old dying of fits? Afterall childhood fits is not uncommon, and there have been a few cases in our family with no major problems. Are you sure there was no medical goof-up?

If I'm worsening your pain, I'm extremely sorry. But Shraddha's beaming face and the news of her demise are too much for me to digest .
  • ~nm · 1 year ago
Oh my! This is so heart breaking.

May her soul rest in peace! I just cannot imagine what her parents and all of you must be going through right now.

    Hugs!!

This is indeed a very very sad news ... I don't know how to react. I am shaken .... I hope Shraddha's parents have enough support to get through the hard times.
    Please take care ...
